Another commission that I should have finished a long time agoD:. Desoto for .(Just so nobody wonders why the heck his collar is so huge, the commissioner described him as wearing a belt in place of a collar...hence why it's so long. Whoot.)

I'm currently using Photoshop 7.0 (for coloring...the lineart is done with a pencil). I used to use Photoshop Elements 3.0, but I've moved in with my boyfriend, and he only has PS 7.0...I prefer Elements, personally:B.

i have a question if you can help me, i color my pics with colored crayons, and i just made a super nice one but when i scanned it the colors were lighter and and almost white

I still love the way you draw paws, fur and motion. You have sucha great sense of anatomy. And I love the way you drew the collar, too!
If critique is welcome, I just think the fore-legs are a little bit too long for the back legs. Of course back and forelegs aren't always symmetrical in lengh. I just figured that. If critique isn't welcome please ignore this k =o

Thanks for pointing the leg problem out:3. I had a lot of trouble with both the front and back, so I knew something was off but wasn't sure exactly what. I went ahead and shortened the front legs a bit, so hopefully they look a bit more in proportion now.

Naw, I decided to stop using lineart with my work and start using the original sketches. The lineart I'd been doing looked nice and all in it's own way, but I just couldn't stand how I just about always lost the fluid look of the fur, original expressions, and sense of movement in characters. Plus it's a lot more fun to color sketches because you don't have to be restricted to specific lines and therefore have more room to change things slightly to make them more visually pleasing.
(By the way, I'm working on your sheets next...altough I checked the link you gave me for your Nathan character, and it's showing up as having been deleted. Is there another ref for him that you have, or were you wanting a different character done in place of him?)
