This is my OC Suo with *WindFeathers ' OC, Denali, and my first attempt at a background with any amount of effort
I think it turned out okay, for a quick one! Also, it's only my third digital work and third wolf drawing! (one a year ago and one three years ago) I'm thuper duper proud!

What to say first? The good, or the not-so-good? I'd like to end this on a good note, so I'll start nit-picking your picture. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w… " width="15" height="15" alt="
The first thing I noticed is the head shape of both of them. Suo's head looks alright, but Denali's snout looks way too rectangular to be realistic. *posts a link* [link]
And on a wolf, the nose, eyes, and ears all line up, like so: [link]
But that angle you drew Denali's head at is a tough one! (she is tilting her head, right?)
Moving on now, another thing that bugs me is Denali's paw pads. Wolf pads aren't perfect circles: [link] the middle pads are bigger than the outer ones.
And, I'm also not seeing any dewclaws at all in this drawing? It's like a tiny, unusable thumb for canines! e.deviantart.net/emoticons/x/x… " width="15" height="15" alt="
And then there's the hawk foot. I know you probably don't have a lot of experience with them, here's an image that will help you if you decide to draw Denali again: (it's letter e) [link] She seems to be missing her fourth talon! D:

Thanks for pointing out the pads, but as this was for a contest, I had to rush it and went for a cartoon effect, not really knowing what else to do. 
TALON FAIL! And I swear I drew that fourth talon, but it disappeared!!! To lazy/short of time to put it back...
I probably sound like I'm using it as an excuse, but I had no time for better shading! 
I will be sure to use that pen tool! Thanks so much!

Question: That lighter line of tan fur, is that supposed to be Denali's stripe marking, or is it just more belly fur?

I used a bigger brush and made it so it's not solid and coloured on a diff layer, then erased all the stuff that was out of the lines (if that makes any sense)
