Description Ughhh I'm so hungry. Or maybe I'm not hungry and it's actually a stomachache. I can't even tell anymore.

This is homework for tomorrow's book club. I was planning to draw for it during break, but I ended up playing Ace Attorney Investigations instead. So I ended up drawing it the day before it's due. a. ha. ha. I started CGing it at 10:30pm, so I had to work fast so I get some sleep tonight. Except my fast CG is still pretty slow. I ended up taking around an hour to color it.

This picture symbolizes Tess' life (from Tess of the d'Urbervilles) from chapter 28-41. The pheasant is the most obvious one, because it is mentioned in the book. The pheasant was shot, and she broke his neck so that he wouldn't have to live with the pain.

The dress she is wearing represents her marriage, how she married someone high class, someone she loved. But the dress it dirty because she is "unpure." Her petticoat is revealed, like the secrets she tried to hide away were revealed. The wings represent her husband Angel leaving her.

There's a bunch of other symbols, but there's too much to talk about, so I'll just leave it at that.

Hnnngngggggg now I gotta go study and memorize stuff. great.

PS: I know the proportion mistakes, so please don't point them out. Yes, I know. They're bothering me too.

It's written in the 1800's, so it's sort of similar to Jane Austen style. If you like her works, I'd definitely recommend it!
