I have to say, I really like the pacing in this comic. You give the exact needed number of panels for each character, to convey the emotion that is needed. Those three first panels are a proof for that.

Ah, that's so relieving to hear! (Aside from the slow prologue, which I'll redo sometime in the future,) I'm trying to work on figuring out how to pace dialogue and actions so that things don't get too boring, but don't also rush through too fast. Still have some learning to do on it, but I'm so happy to hear that it's at least working out some! I appreciate it a lot!
