The roaring stadium grew silent as the little blue Charmnder marched onto the stage, the lights dimming down until it was only the blue light that lit from its illuminating tail was visible, the light making the figure of the small lizard pokemon.

The silence was broke by the female trainer’s call from the sidelines.

“Yamori, use Fire Spin!”

With a quick nod, Yamori jumped into the air, releasing a stream of blue flames from its mouth as it twirled in midair.

As it began to fall back from its back flip, a radiant spiral was formed.

Finally DONE! @.@

The Pokemon beauty contest

I thought I had a good shot at winning this time, so I worked on this right away! Unfortunately, college work and assorted other things have kept me busy. So this had to be turned in the last minute… I hope I make it in! I was going to do a funny one, but this turned out a lot better. I'm happy with it!

This had a lot of experimenting on it.

First, I did the lineart WITHOUT the pen tool, just tablet x.x I couldn’t believe I got it so nice and smooth! Took less time then the pen tool too! It took about… an hour. Pretty good I say, got right to coloring.

The fire was new too, I had no clue what to do. At first it looked like an aura, no good. So I messed with the smudge tool and… well… I’ll be better next time!
