Okay…warning to everyone…if the image wasn’t clear…I went wild with this

Conflict - The eternal dragon Shenron laid his eyes on Goku as he was summoned, the saiyan raised on Earth providing his usual glee. Goku was tired after the threat of Buu had been handled, and with Vegeta currently with his family — which is something Goku praised — he was rather bored lately, and hoped Shenron could summon forth an opponent that could give him a challenge. Thus, the Dragon spoke his usual response “Your wish has been granted.” and like that, in front of Goku appeared…a human. A bald human. A bald human in a yellow suit with red gloves, boots and a white cape. He held the most bored and confused look Goku had ever seen before, but he chose to ignore it and introduced himself to the man as Shenron dispersed when not receiving an answer on if Goku had another wish. Goku provided an explanation as to what was going on, all while the man looked more confused by the second. Eventually, he snapped and shouted “EXPLAIN IN 20 WORDS OR LESS!” desperately. Goku sweat-dropped and scratched his cheek with a nervous chuckle, but obliged, explaining he was looking for a fight and that he was the only one who could grant it. The man’s response? “Ok.” His next action?—

Rising State 1 - —BAM! In an instant, Goku was sent into the air from a simple punch from the man, who still had the same bored expression on his face. As Goku recomposed himself as he crashed back on the ground, he looked in awe at the man. He didn’t even see him move! Goku called out to the man, realising he never got his name. The man responds by saying he’s called Saitama, and that he’s a hero for fun. Goku smiled, before flying forwards and punching him in the face…which did absolutely nothing. Goku’s eyes widened from shock before he felt a powerful blow to his gut which sent him flying back. He repeatedly attempted to attack but each move yielded the same result, and so, Goku decided to kick things up a notch. Stopping in front of Saitama, he began powering up all while the man stared at him in an uninterested manner. Slowly, Goku’s hair flickered gold and spiked up as his eyes changed to teal. Saitama pointed his finger at Goku’s hair “Hey, uh…you okay? Your hair’s kinda—” Saitama couldn’t finish as Goku’s aura exploded and pushed the hero for fun back a few meters. Saitama’s mouth was opened slightly in surprise. Goku smirked at him. “Sorry for the burst. This must be weird for ya, huh?” Saitama stared “Honestly…I’ve seen weirder.” With that, the fight resumed, with the Super Saiyan and Human coming to blows, this time Goku holding his own a slight deal better. However, it was clear that Saitama still held a good and clearcut advantage

Rising State 2 - With the fight picking up pace, the two began to change their locations with their fight, leaving the grassy plains area Goku had summoned Shenron and instead fighting over to the desert, rock filled area where Goku had first faced Vegeta. Saitama was still ahead of Goku in strength, but the Saiyan was making do with his various ki attacks and instant transmission. However, Saitama was slowly picking up his speed and Goku was struggling to react in time more and more. Suddenly, Saitama got too close with one hit that was directed right at Goku’s face. He didn’t have enough time to go Super Saiyan 2, and so he used the one thing he could think of in that moment. “SUPER KAIOKEN!” He roared out as his power doubled and he avoided the hit, before sending Saitama flying back. He then hurriedly deactivated the kaioken before any of it’s harsher effects took a toll on his body, which would only be made worse with Super Saiyan activated. Once again, Goku raised his power level

Rising State 3 - Goku ascended into Super Saiyan 2 and glared at Saitama, who dusted himself off. His face was a but different from earlier. Overall the hero looked more…awake and attentive. Saitama focused his gaze back onto Goku. The two stood momentarily in silence before the two clashed in the blink of an eye. They appeared relatively even now. Goku looked as though Saitama’s hits weren’t even doing all that much to him. Saitama, on the other hand, looked as though he was focusing more and more as the fight continued. He could feel something ever so faintly every time Goku hit him but…he just couldn’t place his finger on what it was. The two launched punches that collided and separated them from the shockwaves, and Goku took his chance at keeping up offense. He fired a massive volley of ki blasts towards Saitama, who’s face shadowed as he took a stance and spoke: “Serious Series: Serious Consecutive Side Hops!” and like that, Saitama easily avoided all attacks coming his way, before launching himself towards Goku

Climax 1 - Something changed. Both Saitama and Goku could feel it. Saitama was slowly gaining the advantage over Goku again. His hits were getting stronger and his speed was increasing. Goku was once again struggling to keep up, but why? All theories pointed towards an answer neither knew: Saitama’s limiter was rising. After his constant training led to him being able to shatter it for the first time, his strength had not been challenged by anyone that had come his way…until now. Goku had managed to reactivate the potential of Saitama and allowed it to increase even further. Saitama’s face soured and shadowed. He knew what came next, as his fist connected with Goku’s chest and the saiyan coughed up blood before he was launched into a pillar of rock. Saitama sighed to himself, before turning to walk away as Goku dropped out of the rock and down to the ground

Climax 2 - However, the human came to a halt when he heard the Saiyan shift and stand back up, still in his Super Saiyan 2 form. Goku grunted and glared at the hero, before charging up once more. His power erupted out of him and could be felt throughout practically almost the entire universe. A bright light emanated from Goku as his power grew and grew, all the while Saitama glared, his face still shadowed. Eventually, Goku’s screams and power came to a halt, as the light died down and Saitama witness his opponents latest form

Climax 3 - Goku stared down Saitama, his eyes now having black pupils instead of being fully teal like his last two forms. His hair had grown to a ridiculous length and his eyebrows were gone. “You should be proud,” Goku began, “only one other being has managed to push me this far.” Saitama merely stared in response, before flashing in front of Goku and going in for another punch…only for Goku to casually grab the incoming fist without so much as a flinch, shocking the man. Goku smirked before he drew his fist back and punched Saitama in the face with a mighty blow that sent Saitama through a multitude of rocks. As Saitama rested on one knee, he saw something peculiar leak on the floor. It was red, and appeared to be trailing down from where he was hit. As he checked his face, he felt blood leaking from an open wound. Then it hit him. An open wound. Saitama had taken an actual wound. It stung. It stung! He could feel it! He could feel…pain. That was it! That was the feeling he couldn’t recognise earlier! To think…he would experience this sensation again. It was incredible. Goku flashed onto the scene and looked at the downed Saitama. “You finished?” He asked, and Saitama merely looked back at him, his previously bored expression gone completely, now replaced with a lively smile and a fire in his eyes. That was all the confirmation Goku needed as he braced himself as Saitama burst forward

Falling State 1 - Neither human nor saiyan held back against the other. The two were giving their all at this point. With every strike Saitama took, it felt as though he retaliated with a slightly harsher blow, and Goku responded in kind. The sky shook and the ground cracked. The Earth itself quaked as the strongest clashed, and the people of the world, though they couldn’t see what was happening, they could most certainly feel it. From the Z Fighters all detecting the battle through their ability to sense ki, to every hero and civilian that could just feel the impacts of their hits. Krillin, Yamcha, Tien and Roshi all stood in shock where they were at the power they sensed, Piccolo merely closed his eyes and focused on the two signatures, whereas Vegeta scoffed momentarily. The Prince’s drive to improve just expanded. Meanwhile at the Supercontinent, the Hero Association was going mad. They couldn’t believe the power of the signatures they were detecting and to make things worse, they couldn’t even pinpoint them due to their sheer speed. Was this the Threat Level God they had all feared so much?! They didn’t know, nor did any of the heroes, not even those of Class S or the one in another dimension: Blast. The Number 1 Hero was absolutely baffled at the power being displayed. Power so grand he could sense it so easily in another dimension! None of them knew what caused it..besides one. Saitama’s pupil and loyal friend, Genos, stood on the rooftop of a building as his sensors detected the battle. This level of power…it was unmistakable. “Master…” was all he uttered, as Goku and Saitama roared at each other while they landed solid punches to their faces much like how Vegeta and Goku had when he was under the influence of Babidi.

The two only went higher and higher. Saitama dug his hands into the ground before he pulled up and tore out a massive chunk of the area to Goku’s shock. This was another of his Serious Moves: the Serious Table Flip. The large chunk of earth hit Goku head on and Saitama jumped up, punching through it and directly punching Goku in the face. In retaliation, Goku grabbed Saitama by the face and slammed him into the large piece of rock and drove him through it. Slowly, as it descended back down, the rock broke apart, and there Goku and Saitama were, battling on. On and on, they continued. Saitama’s speed elevating as he reached closer and closer to Goku’s level of power. From Goku’s view, the man was appearing from multiple points at once. The Omni-Directional Serious Punch. Knowing he had to avoid it, Goku put two fingers to his head and teleported away from the attack using his instant transmission. Saitama had a shocked look in his face, then heard a charging sound behind him, and saw Goku cupping his hands together while generating blue energy. “KAMEHAME-” Goku began, as Saitama braced himself, reeling his fist back.

“HAAAAAAAA” Goku screamed out as his signature attack erupted out of his hands, directed right at Saitama, who let out a roar of his own and punched the blast head on. The attack split in two, and trailed off the planet into deep space, frightening any populated areas the split shots passed over. Saitama panted. He could feel it. Fatigue. It was…wonderful. Wondeful! All of this was. He had gone so many years of his life being the strongest, and now it had all changed. His muscles ached, his throat sore, his hands shaking and he was positive he could taste blood in his mouth, not to mention he was covered in wounds, from bruises to cuts. But that wasn’t the best part to him. No, the best part was what he felt within. His heart. He couldn’t recall the last time he heard it beat so loudly from in his ears, how quickly it pulsated. It was amazing. Just amazing! After so long, he felt it. The exhilaration of a real fight! He had the happiest smile on his face as he looked up at the saiyan, who returned the gesture

Falling State 2 - Both fighters gazed at each other before dropping their smiles, knowing what had to come next. Goku was still in the air as he looked down at Saitama. Super Saiyan 3’s heavy drain on stamina was going to take it’s toll soon. He needed ti wrap this up, and from what he could tell, Saitama was going to do the same. The two reeled back their fists for one final attack and launched at each other. The two hurled out their fists halfway through their charges, a massive golden dragon generating from Goku while Saitama unleashed his strongest attack. The Serious Punch that emanated the feeling of oncoming Death. Finally, the two collided and briefly struggled, until…

Death 1 - Goku’s Dragon Fist didn’t hold up. Super Saiyan 3 had used up too much of his energy to hold out long enough, and Saitama broke through, his punch hitting Goku directly in the face. He didn’t even feel any pain. One second he was transformed, the next he was back in base, eyes blank and dropping to the ground. Saitama panted as he two fell down, opposite to the dead body of the saiyan. Sitting in an upright position, Saitama coughed up one last bit of blood before gazing at Goku’s body with a saddened expression

Death 2 - Saitama couldn’t believe it. He lost. One second he clashed with Goku, the next he could feel his fist break down and his body given in as the Saiyan’s attack overpowered him. He could feel it. His body slowly being vaporised by the attack. He broke apart bit by bit, yet…the man felt no hatred towards his foe. He couldn’t have picked a better way to die, really. He finally got the fight that he desired so greatly. He was happy, and frankly, that’s all that mattered to him. Tears streamed down his face in his final moments as he gave on last smile to Goku, who stared at him shocked, before returning the smile as the hero disappeared completely

Aftermath 1 - Saitama stood up fully, his face still bearing the grieving expression as he looked at the body of Goku. He finally got what he wanted. The fight he desired so much…but now, his sadness returned. The one man who gave him this gift was gone…the one being who may have been able to help. One who may have had a happy life of his own, considering how he was when Saitama first saw him earlier.

“For a moment, that feeling of emptiness was gone. I felt true happiness again…thank you, Goku.” He said as he walked away from his body, back to his home city. Son Goku. What an incredible man. One who, at another time, could have been a good friend, no doubt. A man who Saitama wouldn’t forget. However, imagine Saitama’s shock when a year later, he sees that very man again when walking outside of the supermarket with Genos. Saitama thought he was going mad, but his disciple noticing the Saiyan debunked that theory immediately. Goku looked at him with the kind and warm grin he had when he first met Saitama. All the hero could do was stare on in shock. This shock only increased when Goku explained how he was alive. It didn’t take long for Goku to acquaint with Genos, though the cyborg’s distant and serious personality did make things awkward at first

Aftermath 2 - Goku landed back down on the ground. He could feel his strength fading more and more while in Super Saiyan 3, but he didn’t care. The sun shone brightly as the clouds parted from his final clash with Saitama. Goku raised his fist to the air and smiled.

“That was incredible. I promise, this wont be the last time we meet. I’ll repay you for this, Saitama.” And he was sure to keep that promise. Though he had to wait a year to revive Saitama with the Dragon Balls, that didn’t stop Goku from visiting the hero for fun in the Afterlife. There the two talked to one another and sparred from time to time, and also led to some interesting moments, such as Saitama requesting that Goku explain what happened to Genos. The cyborg’s response was…understandably furious, but after knocking him around a tad and getting him to calm down, Goku explained his plan to the Class S hero, who still had his doubts at the Saiyan’s words, but his confidence in them gave him enough reason to believe him. Finally a year passed, and Goku was at Capsule Corp alongside the other Z Fighters as well as Bulma and Genos. Shenron was summoned, and Genos gazed in awe as the Eternal Dragon granted Goku’s wish and revived Saitama. There was a flash of white in the shape of figure, and Saitama was alive and well once more. Goku ran up and greeted him, welcoming him back to the world of the living as Saitama smiled back to the Saiyan. Then, the man saw Genos and waved with a kind look on his face, as Genos ran up and hugged his master, to Saitama’s brief shock before softly smiling and returning the hug. It was good to have his friend back, and good to be back in general

Aftermath 3 (Can be connected to either Aftermath 1 or 2) - For the rest of their lives, Goku and Saitama’s bond only grew stronger. The two introduced each other to their allies and friends. Saitama and Genos both became regular visitors to Capsule Corp, Kame House, Kami’s Lookout and any time there were gatherings for the Z Fighters. Likewise, Goku became a visitor to Saitama’s city and met other heroes and friends such as Fubuki and King. Genos also introduced him to Class S heroes, who Goku got along with well for the most part, save for Tatsumaki. The Saiyan raised on Earth found himself having particularly enjoyable conversations with Bang and the old martial artist seemed to share the feeling. In fact, he seemed to have a look of nostalgia when speaking with Goku. Goku also enjoyed sparring with Bang’s pupils, Garou and Charanko, from time to time. Though they weren’t the strongest, their drive to grow was impressive to say the least. As time carried on, Goku and Saitama became great friends, and were always there to help each other out. Goku even gifted Saitama the Nimbus should he ever require it to fly. For any threats that came either way, the other was at the ready to help their friend. Saitama faced off against Beerus alongside Goku when the latter first acquired Super Saiyan God, and even defeated the terrible Golden Frieza when Goku and Vegeta were off-world. The Z Fighters showed up to help when the full threat of God had emerged, and they fought side by side with the heroes to combat his threat.

It didn’t matter what it was that came their way, they were always at the ready to help one another as they grew higher and higher and lifted themselves up. That was the tale of Goku and Saitama.

The Serious Punch that emanated the feeling of oncoming Death. Finally, the two collided and briefly struggled, until…

Death 1 - Goku’s Dragon Fist didn’t hold up. Super Saiyan 3 had used up too much of his energy to hold out long enough, and Saitama broke through, his punch hitting Goku directly in the face. He didn’t even feel any pain. One second he was transformed, the next he was back in base, eyes blank and dropping to the ground. Saitama panted as he two fell down, opposite to the dead body of the saiyan. Sitting in an upright position, Saitama coughed up one last bit of blood before gazing at Goku’s body with a saddened expression

Death 2 - Saitama couldn’t believe it. He lost. One second he clashed with Goku, the next he could feel his fist break down and his body given in as the Saiyan’s attack overpowered him. He could feel it. His body slowly being vaporised by the attack. He broke apart bit by bit, yet…the man felt no hatred towards his foe. He couldn’t have picked a better way to die, really. He finally got the fight that he desired so greatly. He was happy, and frankly, that’s all that mattered to him. Tears streamed down his face in his final moments as he gave on last smile to Goku, who stared at him shocked, before returning the smile as the hero disappeared completely

Aftermath 1 - Saitama stood up fully, his face still bearing the grieving expression as he looked at the body of Goku. He finally got what he wanted. The fight he desired so much…but now, his sadness returned. The one man who gave him this gift was gone…the one being who may have been able to help. One who may have had a happy life of his own, considering how he was when Saitama first saw him earlier.

“For a moment, that feeling of emptiness was gone. I felt true happiness again…thank you, Goku.” He said as he walked away from his body, back to his home city. Son Goku. What an incredible man. One who, at another time, could have been a good friend, no doubt. A man who Saitama wouldn’t forget. However, imagine Saitama’s shock when a year later, he sees that very man again when walking outside of the supermarket with Genos. Saitama thought he was going mad, but his disciple noticing the Saiyan debunked that theory immediately. Goku looked at him with the kind and warm grin he had when he first met Saitama. All the hero could do was stare on in shock. This shock only increased when Goku explained how he was alive. It didn’t take long for Goku to acquaint with Genos, though the cyborg’s distant and serious personality did make things awkward at first

Aftermath 2 - Goku landed back down on the ground. He could feel his strength fading more and more while in Super Saiyan 3, but he didn’t care. The sun shone brightly as the clouds parted from his final clash with Saitama. Goku raised his fist to the air and smiled.

“That was incredible. I promise, this wont be the last time we meet. I’ll repay you for this, Saitama.” And he was sure to keep that promise. Though he had to wait a year to revive Saitama with the Dragon Balls, that didn’t stop Goku from visiting the hero for fun in the Afterlife. There the two talked to one another and sparred from time to time, and also led to some interesting moments, such as Saitama requesting that Goku explain what happened to Genos. The cyborg’s response was…understandably furious, but after knocking him around a tad and getting him to calm down, Goku explained his plan to the Class S hero, who still had his doubts at the Saiyan’s words, but his confidence in them gave him enough reason to believe him. Finally a year passed, and Goku was at Capsule Corp alongside the other Z Fighters as well as Bulma and Genos. Shenron was summoned, and Genos gazed in awe as the Eternal Dragon granted Goku’s wish and revived Saitama. There was a flash of white in the shape of figure, and Saitama was alive and well once more. Goku ran up and greeted him, welcoming him back to the world of the living as Saitama smiled back to the Saiyan. Then, the man saw Genos and waved with a kind look on his face, as Genos ran up and hugged his master, to Saitama’s brief shock before softly smiling and returning the hug. It was good to have his friend back, and good to be back in general

Aftermath 3 (Can be connected to either Aftermath 1 or 2) - For the rest of their lives, Goku and Saitama’s bond only grew stronger. The two introduced each other to their allies and friends. Saitama and Genos both became regular visitors to Capsule Corp, Kame House, Kami’s Lookout and any time there were gatherings for the Z Fighters. Likewise, Goku became a visitor to Saitama’s city and met other heroes and friends such as Fubuki and King. Genos also introduced him to Class S heroes, who Goku got along with well for the most part, save for Tatsumaki. The Saiyan raised on Earth found himself having particularly enjoyable conversations with Bang and the old martial artist seemed to share the feeling. In fact, he seemed to have a look of nostalgia when speaking with Goku. Goku also enjoyed sparring with Bang’s pupils, Garou and Charanko, from time to time. Though they weren’t the strongest, their drive to grow was impressive to say the least. As time carried on, Goku and Saitama became great friends, and were always there to help each other out. Goku even gifted Saitama the Nimbus should he ever require it to fly. For any threats that came either way, the other was at the ready to help their friend. Saitama faced off against Beerus alongside Goku when the latter first acquired Super Saiyan God, and even defeated the terrible Golden Frieza when Goku and Vegeta were off-world. The Z Fighters showed up to help when the full threat of God had emerged, and they fought side by side with the heroes to combat his threat.

It didn’t matter what it was that came their way, they were always at the ready to help one another as they grew higher and higher and lifted themselves up. That was the tale of Goku and Saitama.
