My first real fan art of my favorite kaiju from Pacific Rim, Leatherback! I really liked how this big knuckled bruiser just threw his weight around in the film and it felt like a big kaiju moment when he showed up. I really liked the gorilla style design and the juggernaut-like pushing and shoving he did during the film. I really loved his big bear hug and tossing of Gipsy Danger. And yes I have his heroclix figure and it's such a bruiser. It has moments when it's completely immune to ranged attacks! This might not be the most dynamic pose but I really loved detailing his big mitts and face. Definitely have to try some more of the Pacific Rim kaiju.
