I don't want to rag on Playmates like some collectors in the fandom do but even though I did grab the Giant Mechagodzilla and thought it was pretty cool, I knew when I saw this that the Bandai vinyl Mechagodzilla from GVK was a must and to be my final grab of the character as my definitive toy of it because seriously, this thing looks fantastic for the toy series and the price point. Unlike the Playmates figure looking kinda stuff and the paints being flat, this is what I expect from the best of the bandai vinyl line and really just captures the mech so much better, with the exception nitpick just being the claw hands, I knew those were going to be hard to capture in the soft vinyl that these toys are made of.

I knew I wasn't going to be inclined to spend the money that the Monsterarts version of this character was going to go for, not to mention that sold out pretty much EVERYWHERE so for my simple vinyl loving needs this figure will do absolutely fine.
