So yeah, I tend to be stupidily OCD about getting at least ONE figure of every kaiju in the Toho universe, and if I like them a lot I want a good toy with good detailing. Previously all I had ever been able to find for the Dorats, the adorable little freaks that mutate into the 1991 King Ghidorah, were little rubber figures and a chibi style keychain. So you can imagine how annoyed I was when they made these Dorats and included 3 of them as an exclusive along with the Monsterarts Mecha-King Ghidorah. That figure started expensive and has only gotten worse with time and there was no way I was going to spend the money on a monster I already had good enough toys of just for these tiny little guys, as much as I wanted them.

So long story short I set a search on ebay to find these if they ever showed up WITHOUT the Ghidorah figure, and finally I found a seller in Hong Kong that was just selling the Dorat toys by themselves for much, much cheaper. Sadly they were selling them separately and I didn't feel inclined to pay out the rear for three of these, so one will have to do, but I'm still very happy to have this little guy. What's amazing to me is that even though it's really tiny (like two inches tall) it still has leg, wing and JAW articulation. Incredible.
