Ceci est le drapeau du Régiment Aéroporté Canadien ou en anglais "Canadian Airborne Regiment" c’était une formation des Forces Armées Canadiennes , il a été crée le 8 avril 1968. Ce n’était pas un régiment administratif au sens commun du Commonwealth . , mais plutôt d’une formation tactique composée d’autres régiments et branches. Il a été dissous en 1995 après l'incident connu sous le nom d'Affaire de la Somalie.

Après la dissolution du Régiment Aéroporté Canadien en 1995, les restes ont été ramenés dans leurs "maisons" de régiment et sont devenus une compagnie du bataillon léger de chacun de leurs régiments: le 3ème Bataillon, du Régiment Royal Canadien , le 3ème bataillon du Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry et le 3ème Bataillon du Royal 22e Régiment .

This is the flag of the Canadian Airborne Regiment or in French "Régiment Aéroporté Canadien" it was a formation of the Canadian Armed Forces , it was created on April 8, 1968. It wasn't an administrative regiment in the commonly accepted British Commonwealth sense, but more of a tactical formation manned from other regiments and branches. It was disbanded in 1995 after the incident known as the Somalia Affair .

After the disbandment of the Canadian Airborne Regiment in 1995, the remnants were returned to their regimental "homes" and became a company of the light battalion of each of their regiments the 3rd Battalion , The Royal Canadian Regiment , the 3rd Battalion of Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry and the 3rd Battalion Royal 22n Regiment .
