It's been too long since I drew Somber.
Somber doesn't visit the ocean very often, if she does she stays in more shallow water. She loves the ocean endlessly, but it triggers horrible memories about her past life and how much she misses it. The moment she lives her boundary, she feels the drain of her powers so deeply. And it hurts her that she is no longer directly connected to the ocean like in her former life. Still at times it calls to her and she needs to feel it. Surrounded by the ocean that is always willing to welcome her home.
