the title 'Ranger Slayer' puts in my mind the image of an Evil Power Ranger who wants to rid the world of the Power Rangers... an image that this sketch very well compliments

One thing I never got about Power Ranger-helmets is why they have the mold of a lower face on them instead of showing the wearers real mouth.

Because they are supposed to be face concealing helmets and protect the wearer from harm? And of course it makes it easier to put someone else into the suit in real life.

Yeah, but to create the outward appearance of a white emotionless face? It's like having Michael Myers mask peeking through. It has no tactical reasons for being there, so I just wonder why they don't use a more traditional mouth protection that matches the rest of the helmet.
