Lots of these would be so so so much easier if I did use white markers on black paper. But I like the challenge of doing star fields with black marker on white.

Again, love love LOVE the black/white contrast and star-field textures. The bold, strong slope of the "Snowy Bluffs" in the center is VERY powerful, and I as ever adore your use of dots to enhance the details. <3

Thanks. I keep wishing I'd known what it was going to be when I started drawing it, then I would have drawn people snowshoeing down the bluffs. Ah well. I generally don't see the whole picture 'til it's done, but as a side effect I get to be a spectator on my own work. Pretty spiffy. I'm sure you experience this sometimes, too...

And yes, I am indeed familiar with the excitement of your own work taking you by surprise. Indeed, for as often as it can indeed lead you to missing elements you might otherwise have planned for, I think in the end it's a worthwhile trade-off for that vast world of potential it keeps open, y'know? ^_^
