I felt like coloring some of the pony doodles I did. Been kinda drawing some G1s in G4 style. Art block, begone!Related content

Oh, yeah... I never actually got into MLP Tales, though I know a lot of people who did. Β But Hasbro certainly had a number of designs that seemed similar to each other!

Yep, they made a few different versions of a Megan doll. And there was a Molly, too. No Danny, though.

Such warm, soft colors you chose...they fit the design perfectly, and give the picture that good, G1-style feeling, even as the design clearly evokes G4 (and, as an aside, I kind of love how I can talk MLP generations with you as fluently as I would Transformers >w>). I also sincerely adore how your butterflies came out; the arch of their wings, the little dots hanging off of them...the look and feel strikes that lovely balance between abstraction and actuality, if that makes sense. <3

Thank you, the butterfly dots were actually a detail I went back and added at the very last minute! It was just a feeling.
I feel like drawing with markers on this sort of paper leaves a little bit of an odd texture in the scans, but I'm not sure if that's something I'm personally nitpicking about...

It was a good feeling, they really do add just the right feel to the designs. ^_^
Scanners are treacherous little devils who never seem to get one's pictures quite right. lD; Best just to make the best picture you can and hope that the translation via scanning won't diminish it TOO much. l3
