I can see that happening. The whole company of Angry Marines is assemble, waiting for the pre-battle speech from their spiritual sheperd. He climbs slowly on the Altar and turn toward them.

Or rather he wiped out a unit of swopping hawks and a jetbike squad with an aurtach in and my opponent kept as far away from the chaplain after that ^^
Didnt stop him claiming a warp spider and guardian unit before the end of the battle

I like chaplains. Badass unit indeed. I recall one battle in 'Firestorm over Kaurava' where my chaplain wiped out two full squads of tau fire warriors, one squad of kroots and an Ethereal. I was ready to hug him for that. )
And their black armors with those skull helmets - pure awesomeness. )

Yeah well ive had to stop using mine to some extent, the friends i play with semi regually just focus everything on him cause hes caused that much damage xD
I remember the last battle with a friend who collects necrons and he sent a monolith, 2 squads of warriors and his lord after my chaplain and his squad, the chaplain was the only survivor, but he took down both squads of warriors and nearly the lord xD
No i'll be back rolls from been chased down! :3
Oh and the rest of his army found itself out gunned/bladed nearly 2 to 1 and died horribly

And i have the sudden urge to stick him and a squad in a land raider and charge him into the heart of the enemy forces :3
But my emperors champion usually does that, he has also survived everytime
