It's really a lovely design. I love the color choices and the patterns. And the face is really quite lovely! I love those eyes and the ears <3
However... anatomically... it looks like a dog.
You did very well with the straight back and the long-ish neck. You got those traits very well for the deer-look! But... I'm not sure what species this is. I want to say Whitetail? Maybe Roe?
The legs are what throw me off. And the hooves. I can tell you're sort-of incorporating canine-ish anatomy in there. Which it totally understandable. I struggle with the exact same. Only mine look like rabbits. D:
Antlers are very off. When choosing deer, you need to know the species because every deer has different antlers. I don't know of a deer with antlers like this...
As well, the fur is a bit too shaggy. Deer are relatively smooth-furred unless they have a winter coat. Any deer that are shaggy usually are only so on their necks, such as the case with Elk. This is obviously not an Elk though.
I'm currently working on a deer tutorial right this moment. So I'm noticing things. XD
Are you planning on using him in anything? Like a story? In WA maybe? I'd love to see him in action <3

I'd suggest doing more anatomy studies, as the legs look like dog legs. [link]
The photo is of a young deer, probably less than a year old, but you can see right away that the legs are much longer on the lower portion than on the upper. The way the hooves rest on the ground seems really peculiar too.

ive been watching you for some time now, and i remember seeing a few of your arts about a year ago i think?
your improvement is phenominal, your anatomy has increased dramatically! i love the sharpness of the coloring now, and the expressions have become a lot more readable too. C: you've definately settled on a lovely style here.
