It's a good idea someone had!I used the wind waker stained glass as inspiration.. it seems like really glass can be cut into any shapes, so it's hard to constrain it really..
I had trouble getting the photoshop effects right so I just let this cool person do it

Actually, whilst the other guy's finished work looks a lot more "glassy", this is more in keeping with the actual comics/show.
I really like this, especially the colours and the clever use of dividing lines within the larger shapes.

I might still try doing this technique myself, but for now it's nice having two versions because mine's kind of like the wind waker stained glass images..

This is a pretty good start. If you're looking for a glowing glass effect, just use the select wand on the linework and feather it a sh*t-ton for highlights on another layer, with a bit of off-tone on the edges of the color.
As for the glass-shapes, you did a pretty good job with basic emulation, except for how solid the clouds are, particularly between finn's elbow and the mountain. The typical cut is a mix between trying to keep things solid, yet stable with multiple pieces buffering between each other so if a part breaks it's not a huge chunk.
