Born on the world of Ostrowiec, in 1994-B.R.E ( 5349- A.C: Alexandrian calendar) Monika world have little memory of her home world, her farther, a former ship engineer in the Kotoren navy took his family & immigrated to the Kiaren Republic, taking job’s as a ship machinic to support them.

Growing up in a loving family the young Monika took after her farther, learning about Ship Synchro-drives as well as other type’s technologies, by the time the time she was thirteen she knew the in & outs many engines better than her farther.

When not helping her farther she would spend time with her mother, one of their favorite activities was to visit the local historical sites of whatever world they happened to be staying on. Though a truly skilled engineer Monika’s true love was history & mythology many a time she would be away in a library or museum, learning about the cutlers & histories of the galaxy.

One subject she found particularly interesting was that of her own people’s history & mythos, her people world of Ostrowiec had been assimilated by the Kotoren empire over a century earlier, after that her people went from a medieval culture to a modernized world under imperial rule & doctrine, but it’s the era before that fascinated her most.

But bills needed to be payed & working with her farther proved more beneficial then life as a historian. At fourteen her life however suffered a massive blow with the death of her mother, vair a viral flue outbreak on the colony of Tythen, her farther died a year later in an accident, according to the report he had misaligned a ship ignition-coil, causing explosion resulting in his death & the death of over a hundred others.

She was denied incoherence pay-out due to her age & the allegations that her farther caused the accident on purpose, & with out the money to challenge it she was left in the cold. Alone & destitute monika got work in the Tythen scrap yard’s, picking through old ship’s in the hope to find salvage of value, or something to repair in the hops of selling it.

& so, she lived for the next three years, just barley scraping by until she meat Edger Morgan captain of the Mary sue, he was looking for some cheap replacement parts for his ship, impressed by her knowledge & handy work he hired her on the spot. Since then she has never looked back, quickly endearing herself to the crew with her worn & loving personality, as well as her scene of humor, she was even given the nickname sister, now part of a new & somewhat dysfunctional family, she do’s whatever she can to get the ship from one port to the next.
