Description I like the idea of winter more when its starting to warm up outside...

Also, this is totally not like anything I've done before.

The tail seems out of place with the shading, but I love it. ^^

Looks fantastic with only a few shades.

Wonderful pixel-art. I really liked the dithering you applied to the moon, as I was discussing with flashygoodness the other day, dithering is not something very easy to master, it usually makes pixel-art look amateur and most good pixel-artists doesn't use it, trying to appeal to something smoother. But dithering applied correctly can make a pixel-art look very smooth and great, like in this case.

I usually don't like to dither... it's just not my style. But in this case I felt like there just wasn't enough gradient between the rings of light around the moon, and I didn't want to add more colors.

There's something about the use of one colour/monochrome that seems to turn out so much more interesting than multiple colours when dithered right.

I mean, that glow around the moon is really cool. :o

I think monochromatic color schemes kind of force a mood on the picture. Blue has either this sad or quiet, serene feel to it.

that is beautiful. The dithering on and around the glowing moon behind the silhouettes of trees is wonderful, and the lighting adds a lot of feeling to the piece as well. The subtle texture on the snowfield and unusual antialiasing for the snowflakes are also nice touches. This reminds me of Cave Story pixel art, like some of your previous pieces.

I think that game has infected me...

There's a song to go with this. Well, rather, this was made to go with the song.

New one called Snowflakes. Did it earlier today (well... it's 3 am now, so yesterday) in FLStudio. Little over 2 minutes.

Ohh sweet. I'd like to give it a listen! (haha, I could spend days working on my songs, and yet the majority of them barely even surpasses one minute in length)

I could email it or something. I bet it could use some critique.

ahh, you should get a Dropbox. [link] It makes sharing files between friends extremely streamlined and easy, plus give you free web space to host files or even entire websites if you want. Check it out if you're interested!

But I'll email you so you can know what my email is anyway.
