I love the detail... It's detailed, and yet, it's so simplistic... Lauri is the perfect reference for beautiful eyes, and I say that you've done fabulously. This is definitely worthy of a fave.
The shines just below his irises are my favorite for some reason. I just love them!

There isn't tooo much detail to an eye when you're so close and focus on it, so I see how you can see that. Yes Lauri's eyes are beautiful. I also put more detail into it than I can see in the photo because I am so much more zoomed in. Thanks for the fave.
Small, simple, and strong highlights are always my favorite! Glad you love them, I love them to. It's just the highlight of his eyelid/iris, but it's almost like a tear.

Ah, you're right! The highlights almost make him look teary-eyed. That adds a lot more to this drawing, I think. :3 I totally dig symbolism. Makes you wonder... if he were teary-eyed, why? Maybe he lost his pet cat or something. Does he even have a pet cat? Probably not. But I do hope that he likes cats. Men who likes cats are wonderful. Oh, boy. I'm rambling. XD Perhaps I should stop.

Knowing the music of The Rasmus and Lauri, I think the tear could come from a sadness in searching for love. It seems Lauri is searching for something greater, like a greater love, but has not been able to satisfy that in any relationship, or friendship. So he feels a longing...
