I had so many Ideas and wasn't sure what to do and I not quite sure if it's the type of creature is what they were looking for but i wanted something a little different than the dragons and unicorns that everyone tends to lean toward when designing a creatures. so i went with something a little less epic and started with a bunny and added some rodent elements and a bird beak. it also has spines, a horn, and stripes to make it more fantasy like.

They come in a variety of colors and most of the time they are fairly small like a typical rodent but they can also come in a larger size about possibly the size of a horse. The small ones are usually in groups but the larger ones are either on their own or with a group of smaller ones.
These creatures feast on vegetation and insects though it doesn't stop them from wanting to take a bite ,with their sharp beaks, from anyone who gets too close. They like to gnaw on anything they can get their beak on and they love to burrow into the ground and roll around in dirt.
they have excellent hearing their vision isn't so great though it can see movement but distinguishing what exactly that movement is, is impossible for them. they may appear slow due to their somewhat fat bodies but they are actually really fast and have an extraordinary jumping ability.
one of it's weaknesses is that if it gets flipped on to it's back it will go into a trance like state and lie their for awhile. (just like what bunnies will do with they are on their back). They also can't resist food so throwing food at them will distract them for a bit.
