Newt paused. And their eyes flicked backward to growl between clenched teeth, "You makin' fun a me?"

Besides Newt picking fights with almost everyone, the twins spend most of their time working on their father's farm where they help to manage acres and acres of flowers and vegetables when the seasons are right. Despite this, they're mostly skin, bones, and a bit of lean muscle thanks to a shadowing childhood illness and with a dinner that mostly consists of fighting for table scraps. Though by 19 they're technically adults, they're a bit stunted, and would do well to finally grow into their legs and maybe cover their ribs!
newt is one of my favorites to draw because they're not supposed to look pretty, just a little tired and dirty, and mean. Cricket's mane and his usual soft expressions sort of help to clean him up a bit but really, he's not much better
their build is also so weird and shabby but o i love their big lusitano feet and head
