I am the Hammer. I am the sword in His hand. I am the Gauntlet about His fist. I am the Bane of His foes and the woes of the treacherous. I am the End.Those familiar with warhammer 40k might know that chant came from the Grey Knights.

I'm higly influenced and inspired by Warhammer 40k, from the armor to the designs and also the mood and setting of the whole thing. I was trying to go for a more 'epic' feel and stray out of my comfort zone. Have always wanted to try doing such things ^^ ; (but of course i prefer drawing a girl than a testosterone pumped man xD)
It is one of my biggest self projects in a very long time. Starting from the draft i had to refer a lot and changed so many things along the way. Though i did not achieved the target i set for myself working on this pic, i think it came out pretty decent >.<"
I've been working on it for so long that i lost count the exact time i started. But i'm pretty satisfied with what i have learnt so far. I'm far from comfortable cging in such a way, so i hope to really learn to master this style in future.

I can understand not going for the "testosterone pumped man" lol. Why not try the Sisters of Battle, still get to smash heads in but get to be the softer (if that term can be used in 40K) side.

The whole verse is stupidly long, but oh so very epic. And to make matters worse, it's hardly ever recited the same way twice

well, I think the image looks awesome and is very much in the spirit of Dark Heresy (adding a cute girl... but there is something in her eyes that tells you I am of the emperor, and the emperor's will is my own)

I didn't want to fav this, or even look at it for a very long time, heck since it was uploaded really.
Don't get me wrong, I like the picture a hell lot. I liked using the Sisters of Battle in DoW a lot too.
But after I saw this, I found myself unable to select them... cause they look so fugly compared to this.
So I hate you for that.
But I love you for this.
