They added the Disemboweled effect (Aka Sabitsuki Skinned) and some other effect, I think. Can't remember too well, orz.

The last time I played .07, a certain area didn't work for me because the music wouldn't play. So I didn't feel like going in and removing/tinkering with it so I could explore. Too lazy. Like always.

yeah, that is a very common glitch with RPG maker games, Probably renaming files/adding the mp3s would fix it, but it is kind of a pain in the butt.
