Btw this is very nice and sharp.
I did that impressions series in an act of opportunity but I normally suck at landscapes.
This one is very sharp and nice, good depth of field,
and wonderful colours. I didn't see all that till now

Lovely photo, but I would remove the border.
The obscurity and larger F number give you this nice vignette. The corners are nice and dark and really add to the atmosphere. The border kinda keeps it prisonned. I think without the border the photo will get full attention and you'll get a slightly rounded effect cuz of the dark corners.

I started without borders, then I started reposting everything with borders and now I regret it.
Some photo's really don't need it at all, and certainly not this one,
they easily take the attention away from the actual photo.
A border should be supportive to a photo. If it takes the center of attention away it works
distracting. I try to avoid borders now, unless it really matches the photo. But always have
respect for the image, it's bordering in function of the photo, not the other way around.

I did the same thing: if you take a look at my gallery, you'll find that the first works have borders and the last haven't..

si, ne vale veramente la pena, te lo assicuro.. anche se è un viaggio costoso perchè è il paese più caro d'europa.. noi l'abbiamo girato in tenda+inter-rail, ma anche solo per prendere una bottiglietta d'acqua ti spennano! cmq è davvero bellissimo!!
