Is this one also colored pencil? It's very well done, nice and soft.

out of all of these where you drew mia, this one looks more realistic and like her.

Await, meditation, maybe a trace of discomfort.
This is what I see in her whole expression.
A sense of escape, suggested by how she seems to be hiding from the light, slightly covering herself with hair almost trying to actually cover her emotions; her eyes are completely untouched by the light, and this only enforces this impression, to me.

Particularly expressive, moreover, is the position of the mouth, slightly unclosed, very natural and powerfully suggesting potential action. She looks like she's intentioned to speak, though undecided on the moment, and maybe even afraid to do so.

I'm trying to spot something wrong, some detail to point... but it's really hard, really

Maybe I'll catch these: on the anatomy edge, the nose, it looks good to me until I look at the nostril and the point. It appears slightly too straight, you see, on the base, where the septum links to the upper lip. It looks a bit underdetailed, losing to my eyes the spontaneity of the rest of the work, even though I don't have the visual reference you had to draw this, so maybe it looked exactly like that.

Another spot: on the technique edge, there are two spots in the hair where I feel disturbed by lines that emerge due to their... fictitiousness. One spot is near the top right, where the maximal lighting on hair is drawn. The lines there are too harsh and lose the natural flow of the other parts of hair, they just seem... "lines", and don't give me the illusion of being hair. The other spot is where the hair "split" on the top of the head, where you drew those short segments like these \\\\\\. I understand that there the light has another maximal intensity spot, but those again seem "thrown there" to sketch the right part of hair. Maybe had you used more time and delicacy, they would have looked far more natural, and would have blended in the drawing.

As a whole, anyway, the work's great. I really appreciate the emotivity you caught, and the exceptional lighting of the whole subject. Particularly well done is the smoothness and the general blurring, made with exceptionally trained hand in those delicate and uniform strokes of the hatch. Congratulations, honestly.

Now, I guess this is another light pencil on dark paper work, like Friendship, right? Did you use a coloured pencil (or maybe more than one colour) or a white pencil adding a colorizing filter in the editing session (which is what I usually do)? And had you a photographic reference, a live model or whatnot?

Thanks for this really superior work and without hesitation... FAV!
