“BRENDON! Get your ass out here right now! We have to go, we are going to be late”, Ryan called from down stairs as a pulled on my hoodie. I sighed as I walked out of my room and down the stairs to find Ryan standing there with a pissed look on his face. He was wearing a pink scarf around his neck and a floral print button up shirt under a thick winter coat. His hair wasn’t straightened so he looked more like a child then ever. He had such a baby face.
He glared at me and muttered, “Come on, we are so late.”
I rolled my eyes and smiled as I fallowed him outside into the cold winter air. Ryan had to pick me up today for Pete’s Christmas dinner party because my car was in a little fender bender. I only kind of totaled it a little.
I slid into Ryan’s car. I loved the new hybrid cars for one reason; the on button. It made me so happy to press a button and turn a car on! It was like  toy. He got into the car and the second his hand started to go for the button I yelled, “Oh, Ryan, please let me press the button to start the car. Please please pretty pleases!”
He pressed down the button and said to me coldly,” No.”
I sank back in my seat as he started to drive away from my house. Ryan always seemed 10 degrees colder then the temperature outside. So in Ryan Ross’s body it would be about -18 degrees right now. Maybe he is the grinch’s (the one who failed at stealing Christmas) cousin, who’s heart is two hundred times too small.
I watched as snow fell from the New York sky, first slowly, then faster and faster, coating the ground in a white dusty blanket. The streets were soon covered in snow, the kind that didn‘t like cars to be on the road. The car almost slid for the road two time in a matter for 10 minutes. I looked over at Ryan who was trying to concentrate on not crashing the car into a tree.
“Ryro.”
“What?”
“Ryyyro”
“What!”
“Ryyyyyyro!”
“WHAT THE HELL DO YOU WANT!” Ryan said glairing over at me.
I smiled and said in happy voice, “Hi.”
I watched as Ryan’s face turned red. He said though his teeth, “Brendon, if I wasn’t driving it the worst weather yet this winter, I would be killing you right now! You are so annoying.”
I smiled and laughed back, “Love you too Ryan”, then leaned in to hug him. As I did I watched a deer run out in front of the road. Ryan tried to dodge it, but instead sent us flying into the woods. We hit a tree and I flew forwards, bumping my head into the windshield. I looked up and noticed the car was completely under snow. We were trapped.
I looked over Ryan who was still staring blankly out the windshield. He looked like he was in shock. His hands were still holding onto the steering wheel tightly and you could tell his foot was pressed hard onto the break.
“R-ryan?” I said putting my hand on his arm.
He jolted and came to his senses. He looked at the car which had seemed to had turned off completely. He tried to turn it back on, but it seemed to be broke for good.  He sighed and looked at his lap. He muttered in defeat, “Brendon, we might die tonight, you know this right?”
His words sunk into my head slowly. I didn’t want to die tonight. I still had so much to do! I hadn’t rode a ostrich yet, or made my own clothes line, or made up a word that everyone would come to use in normal day life! I looked over at Ryan who looked scared and panicked. He never was scared, ever. Not even when that bat was stuck in our dressing room and it was flying around franticly!
I also had never told Ryan my true feelings for him. I had  always really liked Ryan. I might have even loved him. My heart started to race as I put two and two together. If I die tonight, Ryan will never know how I feel. But what will he say. I mean, he had a girlfriend. But what if he felt the same way about me? What if he loved me back but had never told me cause he thought I wouldn’t like him back.
“B-Brendon. If we die tonight… I have to tell you something”, Ryan said grabbing my hands. The car was starting to lose its warm already so a shiver ran though my body when he touched me.
“Ryan… I’m so sorry”, I whispered.
Concern flashed onto his face and he asked me, “Sorry for what?”
“I’m sorry for annoying you and acting like a 6 year old. I’m sorry for making you late, and making you crash your car and I’m sorry for…”, Ryan stopped me. He looked me right in the eyes. He let go of me to cup my face with his one hand. As he did this he started to speak.
“Brendon, I could never stay mad at you. Your always so optimistic and happy. You have fun with you life, which I could never do. You haven’t made my life worse, Brendon, you have made it better. If we die tonight from freezing, I want you to know one thing. I love you. I always have, the moment I met you I knew I loved you.”
I didn’t see that coming at all. The next thing I knew, Ryan was kissing me with such passion and hunger, my body stop responding. When I knew what was going on, my arms found their way around Ryan’s neck and pulled him into me closer. When we broke apart Ryan muttered, “Maybe we should get in the back seat.”
“Great idea”, I was quick to reply.
Next thing I know Ryan was on top of me in the back seat, and by the end of that night he had convinced me that he had more wit, a better kiss, a hotter touch and a much better fuck then any boy I would ever meet.

“What the hell?!?”, I heard a familial voice screech.
I  open my eyes and I noticed it was really cold and I was naked cuddling Ryan. He was snuggling into my back and I on my side. I looked up and there stood a rather plump strawberry blond wearing a trucker hat and glasses.
“I repeat. What. The. Hell.”
Ryan jolted awake this time and fell onto the car floor. His head hit hard against the side of the car door. He hand on his head and rubbed where he had hit it. He looked up and finally noticed our savoir.
“PATRICK!” Ryan screamed when he noticed that he wasn’t wearing and clothes. “I-I-I can explain! We… were staying warm!”
“Naked?”
I chimed it, “Clothes get cold quick, bodies don’t!”
“With his dick up your ass?” Patrick said cocking his eye brow.
Me and Ryan fell silent. Patrick sighed and muttered, “That’s what I thought. Get your clothes on and I’ll get your car towed for you.”
Patrick walked away as Ryan picked through the clothes on the floor. He handed me my clothes before slipping on his. As I finished pulling on my hoodie I felt him drape his scarf around my neck. I looked at him and he smiled.
“Brendon, you are going to pay to fix my car, you know that right?” He laughed.
I smiled and when in to kiss him. When we broke apart he looked at me with a straight face and said, “No really, I’m serious, you are paying for this.”
I spotted smiling and he smiled again and muttered, “ Merry Christmas Brendon”, before kissing me again.
“Merry Christmas Ryan”, I said as he pulled me into a hug, “I love you.”
