Reff for my fanchild of Spike and Rarity, Emerald Fire.
Side Note: She is NOT an Alicorn X3 I assumed Spike grew wings as he got older like the other dragons from the episode "Dragon Quest" (So Emerald got her wings from Spike's gentics) and she has a horn (from Rarity of course) that can do limited unicorn magic. She can use her wings to fly but not for a long period of time or as fast as a pegasus pony. And unlike pegsi she can't control weather or walk on clouds.

I dare say so! Who says dragons and ponies cannot mate? Such ancient bloodlines have produced fine soldiers for the nightwing squadron of the Royal guard, two of which are my personal guard! She does have at least one place here.

Spike doesn't have wings though, even in Secret of My Excess when he was full grown he didn't have wings.

Its just my guess, all the older dragons from the episode "Dragon Quest" had wings So I assumed Spike would grow them when he is older.

Well, I'm glad you are not thinking of her as a new Godess or something. she works pretty well as just a 'slightly different' kinda pony
