He was one of the possible actors for the Shadowhunters' film, but in the end they took another actor! T_T He would have been perfect for that role!!!

They only took Jamie because Alex turned down the part and the others (Alexander Ludwig, Xavier Samuel, Nico Tortorella, Leebo Freeman, Max Irons, Ed Speleers, Douglas Booth and Lucas Till) all lost to Jamie. It makes sense seeing as none of those, with the exception of MAYBE Ludwig, even come close to Jace other than Jamie. No, he's not as sexy as Jace is supposed to be and, in fact, has a baby face but he'll definitely be more convincing than some of the others. Personally. I'm kind of wanting Leebo Freeman for Sebastian.
I'm more disappointed with their Clary casting. Lily just doesn't fit the physical appearance of Clary. I'd definitely have gone for Alexandra Krosney for Clary and Jake Abel for Jace. I've already called Adelaide Kane correctly as Isabelle.
