Pixiv ...I..I manage to do it this time guys...This is my third attempt painting on Photoshop and I'll stop doing realism for a while....my hand can't handle the pressure anymore....
This is a try from a tutorial....

I would like advice on how to paint realistic lips...

The lips should probably be fuller. And I think there should be a bigger distance between the nose and the lips too... (not by that much)
I don't draw in realism, so I'm not a good person to ask about this... but I can still try, right? XD
But anyway, the lips are just too thin. I don't think they're that bad though. If you take/find a picture usually the lips are about twice as full as yours. And they should reach the ends of the mouth. You have lines at the tips, which should be smaller. (Half the length) (It wouldn't be the same expression, which is why you would need to extend the lips to the sides more)
I hope you find someone who's qualified to give you advice, but from my perspective, that's how I see it
(Also, realism is hard XD Nice job!)

This is happened because of a tutorial that said Caucasian's lips is thin, but it don't describe how thin it is...

...well... I guess they kind of are- but it's not that much thinner than the other races. (I'm half Caucasian, half Asian, so I just have to stare at my dad to know XD)
Although it can also depend on the person... I would think.
