Commission for the red husky character Ortaon.Flecktarn camouflage is never easy, but I'm getting a bit more accurate each time I hope.

It's a G36K.
The C only have a two-hole handguard, no barrel-lenght outside the handguard and the carry handle (with scope+red dot) is replaced by a picatiny rail.

ItΒ΄s a fictional weapon...when Heckler and Koch brough forth the HK 50 designs for evaluation for a new assaultrifle, they showed a variety of models, including shortened Carbine and Commando versions and a version with a heavier barrel and double Drum magazine, aswell as a bipod as a light support weapon. The LSW design got rejected with the reason that, simply adding a heavier barrel to the standart rifle, and having bipod and drum mag as optional parts, makes the gun more versatile and we also have to purchase less...
Also, Kalahari kind of fudged the gun here...itΒ΄s a G36, but instead of 6 ventilation grooves in the handguard, this has only 4, like a G36K.
Those are also used, mind you, but they have a different barrel and flashhider.
Enough Ex-Panzergrenadier knowledge. ItΒ΄s an older piece, but still pretty good, I applaud on the uniform. Flecktarn is hard...

Hey, thanks for correcting me. I used to belong to the American Democrat Party, and so I knew little to nothing about firearms. My only knowledge comes from bird hunting and skeet shooting, as I have no military experience, so I still lack knowledge. So any correct knowledge is appreciated.

For some reason, guns are the only things I could draw from the beginning (go figure).
This is done in colored pencil and marker, I tried to get it looking really smooth though

wow, it is indeed very smooth... lol, and animals were (almost) the only things i was really good at drawing from the beginning... Still suck at weapons, cars and machinery. I had to draw some armour once, that nearly killed me! I realy should learn though. It can only benefit me to have the skills, in fact, i know i NEED to have those skills.

Your guns seem to be moving in a more futuristic (or current) direction versus the older WW2 type models. next thing we know you'll be drawing plasma rifles. nice job on the camo too though.

Thats an Heckler & Koch G36, thats current standart rifle of the german rmy, not some SF-gun. ^^
