Ever since my dad passed away, I made a vow to myself I'd watch the Lord of the Rings trilogy on the day of his birthday (today). And I decided to do more than that, by making a render of practically EVERYONE'S favorite character in the trilogy. Even though Aragorn was his favorite character, my dad also agreed Gollum was one of the best characters in the trilogy; that the writing for his was phenomenal, Weta Digital's VFX work for him was absolutely Oscar-worthy, and Andy Serkis' performance was captivating.Original models can be found here:
