I would definitely say do not accept any invitations to dine at her place! Yikes!
Good old fashioned Macabre, just like the Old Masters used to do it, I loved their workand I liked Goya too. he sort of appealed to that dark spot in my heart and this still does. I love it!

What is Goya?

I recognize Goya's technique in that you used high contrast between light and darkness (impasto I think it's called, correct me if I'm wrong...or I could just Google it...). Instead of Chronos, you have a beastie devouring a human. Having said that. Goya's painting was...much more graphic in terms of violence. More horrifying with Chronos's expression vividly staring at you. But I understand that this was only inspired by his "Chronos" piece. It doesn't have to be violent, bloody, and scary. In fact, this one is very...gentle. Some commenters are saying 'erotic'. I can see that. A little vore action going on there. But while it can be erotic, I think it can also be romantic too.
The victim isn't fighting at all. He's being helped up gently into the predator's mouth while stroking the creature at the same time.
To me, instead of a scene of one animal devouring another in what would normally be very gruesome, I see a scene of love. A lovescene. It could be sexual...romantic...or as most lovescenes go, both.

this is fantastic, lovely lighting colors everything. Great composition as well.
I almost feel that maybe there should be blood where the beak meets the middle of the mans chest? Unless he's just swallowing the man whole and no chewing? heh

Vaguely erotic --- the beast is helping its victim up, it seems. The light falls warmly on him while the background is dark and dingy.

I agree, reminds me of those fetish paintings with a manticore or lamia or harpy perched upon a prone male's body.

I agree. And instead of grabbing ahold of the creature in efforts to get free, the victim is just resting his hand atop its head. As if stroking it or something.

This reminds me of old paintings of Greek Mythological Figures. I love this piece. There is so much mood and atmosphere the dark tones bring to it. Classic!

I love this piece, especially the lighting. What mediums do you use for your drawings? They're so beautiful.

Fantastic piece (I can say the same about Goya's work- awesome as well). I love the utterly dirty and despondant colour scheme and low-intensity lighting. Even the lightest tones don't nearly approach true white and this pic looks all the more disturbing for it. I also love the big chunks/ blocks of colour. Do you start with a uniformly colourd underpainting for your digital work?

I just fail at anatomy, 'specially male bodies. Let's just say he's a hermaphrodite.

You could also credit that to your Goya influence, since the "son" in "Satan Devouring His Son" has a ladylike figure.

Museaum-quality! That's the word I was looking for. I saw some Good Omens fanart by this artist and thought it was museum-quality...but couldn't think of how to...say that, lol.
Goin' on and on about how it reminds me of earlier, more scholatic artists and here you are with the perfect compoud word to sum all of that up.

The bird thing is the witch. She usually looks like this to attract humans, then, after they're naked, she turns into a huge bird-monster and eats them.
