Beautiful capture of the facial expression on Abby here. The fact there's no kind of reflection that is sharp or appears present in her eyes, also adds as if you weren't even there photographing her and adds mystic to whatever she's looking at. I truly love this photo, you complained about the grasses going across her chest, other then part of it merges with her chin or close too it, I don't see it as a problem, it really adds to the fact she's in the grass, and makes her stand out more. If anything the grass on the right is sharp, and kinda distracts, and the angle, but as you said shooting cats in tall grass isn't always going to be what you want it to be.

I know!! This is the lens I sent to Nikon after the accident; it cost me $250 to have it re-tooled to true and the motor repaired and all the interior glass cleaned, and it was sooo worth it. It was a good lens before, but now it's just absolutely wonderful.
I'm thinking about doing it for the rest of my lenses, because this lens is just absolutely SPOT ON focusing now, and the bokeh is actually just a hair better.

Thanks! I'm not 100% happy about the grass across her face/chest, but such is life when you're shooting cats playing in tall grass...

I think that grass makes it look much more natural, I like that!
