9/26/14 EDIT because, predictably, I hecked up the animation and only just noticed.

This is soooo oooooold oh my god I can't even tell you how old this is. And it's really not even finished. OTL But I'm tired of looking at this just sitting around on my computer, and I don't really ever plan to shade it. (There's also a winter segment that I started but got frustrated with and ditched. Maybe I'll finish that... probably not.) Those of you who follow my TGB tumblr blog might have seen a preview of this. Here it is in all it's as-completed-as-it's-ever-really-gonna-get glory.

Shibui only met Akarui twice, but she really meant to see her a lot more. The two times they did meet, she found she really liked Aka, and being with her, and basically everything about her- this was the first cat in the tribes who was ever really kind to her, calling her beautiful, and seeming to actually enjoy her presence. So she took to hanging around Cat's Eye lake to see if Akarui would show up, since that was where they met before. But as the seasons went by, Akarui never came. And finally, in the spring, Shibui learned from Kyer that she had died. (Cue their little tiff and Shibui's growing dislike of Kyer, etc. etc.)

So Cat's Eye lake is still kind of a very symbolic and nostalgic place for her, even now. Aaaand that's the story behind this picture ok I ran out of things to say.
