I haven't played Nights, being a sadly Sega-gamesystem-deprived child back when these things were actually obtainable without resorting to Used Stacks or eBay. However, your art rekindled my interest in looking into it (an interest originally piqued by some other friends a long while back).
I don't know why I never fav'd this before, since it's beautiful and reminds me of every reason I love micron ink.

Honestly I've never even touched a Saturn let alone played NiGHTS. FB just got me into the fandom with her Reala House comics and describing the characters and story to me. Great concepts and characters! Terrible technology for the time :/
Woulda been an amazing game with the tech we have nowadays. And no, the new Nights game is not nearly as awesome. No Jackle, they gave Reala a fufu lamer redesign and Nights sounds like a GIRL. IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE AMBIGUOUS BECAUSE IT'S NOT A HE OR A SHE, IT'S A NIGHTMARE AJDHBGSIUGBKUWSST.
This is how I would've liked to see some parts of the new game: Sure yeah they look all cool and sorta cute, but when it comes time to scare someone they deliver.
