Description Ranul, the inner moon of Kasavoa, is mostly covered in reddish sand. Civilization is concentrated on the hemisphere facing the planet, named "Mustik Hamesi" in the Rile language.
Three seas are found on this side. Massive cityscapes evolved on their fertile shores - Tundu-Iv, Unga-Iv and Redo-Iv, each stretching over several hundreds kilometers. Between them, a central mountainous area formed through a combination of Kasavoa's gravitational pull and the energies of the Kaleidoscope pushing the terrain aside whenever these celestial bodies are aligned accordingly.

The other side, "Mustik Kogli", holds another large sea. Where the tectonic plates give way, uprising magma resulted in a large volcanic island. The ground on this hemisphere is littered with a chaotic mix of minerals, transformed by the same energies that make it uninhabitable when this side faces the Kaleidoscope directly. On the other hand, these minerals are valuable resources to be harvested during the remaining seasons.

Whew, I finally got around to figuring out the geography of Arka's and Omin's homeworld!   It was interesting to imagine what tidal lock plus a weird powerful radiation source on the outside might do to a moon's surface. I hope my thoughts on that make sense in some way.
Anyway, at long last I have a proper map to work with and a face to Ranul's name, so to say. WorldAnvil's Summer Camp challenge is coming up, and I'm looking forward to delving deeper into what goes on in this place. Let's see how many of the prompts I can handle...

Created with Blender's texture paint mode and GIMP.
