Description Rilsu are oviparous. They usually form one single egg per conception, and are "yolking" for about two weeks before laying it. On average, these eggs are 17 cm long and 13 cm wide.
This particular egg contains Il-Omin, Arka 's son. At that point in time he is about a month away from hatching - as you can see, he still has some room to grow inside that shell.
Also of note is the infant coloration which consists of random spots and brownish-grayish plumage. Although its camouflage function hasn't been necessary since the dawn of civilization, it's still deep-rooted in their genetic code because there was never a reason against keeping it.

Whew, this one took a while... I started drawing it in June 2016, but when I got to all those scales, the task soon became tedious.
So this has been lying around in my sketchpad for one and a half years, and every now and then I picked it up to add a few details.
I finally finished it over the 2018 winter holidays.

Done with pencil and colored pencils on paper.

I love how there's both simplicity and details in this pic.

It does look like you put a lot of work into it.
