While I recently found out my boyfriend of 7 months was cheating on me (with apparently more than just one girl) and dealing with the emotions that come in droves like stinging bees, there has been metaphysical inspiration to overcome the darker, bitter feelings that come with the package.

I've always held justice and self-respect on the higher ranks of my principles. Magnolia is an herb used in practices to evoke faithfulness and fidelity. This portrayal of the woman is a visual muse of the hope that we can overcome in our obstacles to become more mature individuals and artists. I'd like to also seek it out as a female entity within all of us to remain true to ourselves and the ones we love dearly, instead of falling weak to superficial temptations. There is dignity in fidelity.
