I've been on a Bionicle fix recently.Anyway, for starters, my favorite designs for Bionicle characters has always been from the Mask of Light game (or Bionicle: The Game. Whichever you prefer). So, naturally I tried to capture that aesthetic.
Then I wanted to play around with my Rahkshi design. Give him actually feet along with arms reminiscent of those from Bionicle Heroes (love my Bionicle games). Fnally ended with the Toa Mata and squeezed Makuta in there facing off with Takanuva. I always picture Makuta as a huge, hulking brute.

I definitely love these redesigns, I probably would've done something more of an organic life-form with Armor, but still, these are amazing. I especially like the Rahkshii and Teridax.

Makuta looks like a true titan here.. better than how he was in the movie, I think.
That Rahkshi too, wow. Rahkshi of Heat, is that? Yellow reminds me of the 'Stars' sets..
I love the style. Almost makes me wonder why you didn't make a Bionicle Comic instead of Hero-Factory.. almost.

Yes, that's the Heat Vision Rahkshi. I even made sure the Kraata was black and orange, which are the correct colors for it.
And I wanted to do a HF comic mainly since there was more room to explore. Bionicle has a set plot and an epic story that I feel I just can't alter. Since the Hero Factory story is much more loose, there's more room to explore and make it better.
... Though, that doesn't mean I won't make a Bionicle comic in the future. Haven't decided.
