Description Decided to keep the sketchy look and not clean up the lines (after all, Reapa isn't a very clean guy to begin with). Also included some other shots of him because I wanted to.

I have this guy, got him for the translucent green parts.

Only to find out, that LEGO has made the new Bionicle-esque series all the more difficultto make MOCs out of cause they're made entirely out of ball-joints.
Why LEGO.
Y U DO DIS.

But I digress.
Charming art style you have there.

Thanks!

And honestly, I felt the same way about the building system at first. I think it just takes some getting used to. It's one of those things that's fun to play and experiment with. But I feel that there is so much untapped potential in it.

I personally like to combine it with Bionicle's building system. It's fun to see how you can integrate the parts.

Call me old-fashioned, but I just love the old X-Rod system.
It seemed to offer more freedom with larger models. You could fit more in smaller spaces, fit on parts that could stick into slots that ball joints don't have. And on larger models, ball joints just keep giving way and the whole thing crumples over.

I whole-heartedly agree. X-Rod system is far more versatile, and I use it forΒ most of my MoCs. But like I said, HF's style is just fun to mess with, and honestly, I don't feel that the actual sets do it justice.

But, y'know. To each his own, I suppose. Bionicle's building system is vastly superior, but HF's does have its enjoyments.Β

I think personally that it was LEGO's decision in order to cut down on how many pieces they had to add to sets.
Business-wise, it's smart. But eh. I suppose it does have it's strengths here and there.

I know I would have been able to make this guy with HF stuff.

(Also, I was really, really fond of the Bionicle storyline too. The lore was amazing.)

I had always imagined his legs to be corroded from all the acid he's been traipsing around in- his bulk comes from acid resistant armour on his upper body.
What you've done with TR is extraordinary. He's really menacing, but not devoid of that extra spunk that makes him such a cool character.

He's messy, gunky, slimy, and glowing with evil and waste.. Yep, looks perfect

Really though, I like the messiness. The glow of the toxic gunk is really appealing with the lime and black, and I like the splatter pattern on the gun and tanks. Reapa seems to be missing those whiskery-things on his lower jaw, but otherwise I really like this!

If there was a cartoon series(not CG) based around Hero Factory, this is what I'd want TR to look like.

I never imagined Reapa being buff, but it looks nice. I like how you made his legs pure bone structures.
