Description
Inspire by a childhood playing warhammer 40k, and recently playing THQ's superb Dawn Of War RTS.Space Wolves rule
Photoshop CS and 3Dsmax 5 used.

The only 3d used was painting the banner, then mapping it onto a mesh, distorting it like cloth, and rendering it out.

mmmh i really cannot notice the 3d here, maybe some ink n paint materials?.
Looks great, but the edges look a little bit blurried, but its still a very good job

Nice work. I just have a couple suggestions that might make this piece even better. Check your lighting a little. There should be more light hitting the front of the large robot on the right and the ground beneath him should be a bit darker to make him more grounded. Also, check the lighting on the guy in the background on top of the cliff with the lighting of the cliff itself. Just some tips to make the piece more consistent. I definitely think you have some potential with digital painting if you just work it a little more.
