Meet Lathanial. He's just your average easy going, music-loving, outdoorsy country boy. He's also a satyr, of the donkey-butted variety.

Lathanial has never been the especially active type. Sometime during his grade school years his father had him join a soccer team, but his name wasn't on the roster for long. He was, by far, the slowest kid on the team, and, though he kept up a good team spirit, was a permanent member of the bench warmers. It was around this time he discovered his satyr-ness, but took the revelation quite well. His parents had told him all his life that he'd come from a long line of donkeys, but it was never clear whether he'd inherited the trait or not. His father didn't, but they weren't able to find a medallion to test Lathanial when he was younger. He quit the soccer team after his first game on the field, as a few of the other boys got a little rough with him in an act of tough motivation. Seeing the toll the whole experience took on his son, Lathanial's dad quickly cheered him up with passing down his grandfather's violin to the young lad. The boy's love for the folk genre followed soon after, and so his life-long passion for music.

In his late teens to early 20's, Lathanial made a name for himself on the violin with many bands on many stages, both local and out of state. Much to his own dismay, the show life quickly wore him out, leading him to move back to his family's old lakehouse to rest and recooperate. In the few years he spent there, he set to pick up as many instruments as he could get his hands on. Guitar, mandolin, banjo... You name it, he probably plays it.

Now a days he spends his time in steady lifestyle he's created for himself, working or volunteering during the week, occasionally having friends over on the weekend, and walking in the woods around his lake as often as he can. He doesn't perform in front of large crowds anymore, but will happily agree to play for (or with) his friends at home whenever they may request.

I hope that wasn't too poorly written. My head's killing me at the moment >_< If there are any gaps in the story you'd like to see filled, let me know and I'll see what I can do about fixing them.
