Description
and here's the last entry, everyones favorite clone Knox
this is the baby's first show entry so wish him luck!
(i didn't include the railing on purpose since it seems like it would be incredibly dangerous if a horse was able to get up high enough to reach them)

"God I'm nervous."
"It's a free jumping class I'm sure he'll be fine."
"You never know. Was it weird to give him a silver version of Moole's tack?"
"He's a clone of Moole whose name is literally 'Multiplying deMoole' I'm sure a silver browband isnt the weirdest thing about him."
The three men were standing with the colt, waiting for their turn at the free jumping chute. Despite being revealed to the world at birth the clone of Home of deMoole had been kept private, Vechnyy choosing not to release too much information about him until after he had proven himself. Now 3 years old the clone had been entered in his first competition of many and all of the Vechnyy staff was eagerly awaiting his debut.
Even without the deMoole name attached to him Knox, as the colt had come to be known to avoid confusion, was coming in with high expectations. Though the original Moole had never done a free jumping class in his life he was still the first Grand Champion of the SlightlyMad show and had been the highest scoring horse in the show so far as the only one to score over 100 points the first year (or any following years for what it was worth).
So far the young horse had exceeded expectations for an exactly replica of Moole, carried and raised by the kindest and calmest surrogate mare possible, Ski (who had ironically had a hand in raising the original Moole as a foal), Knox had grown into a polite young man who was willing to work with you to achieve your goals as long as he got treats along the way. He was still a tiny thief and would rummage through your pockets for treats if he thought you were holding out on him but as a young adult he at least had the tact to wait until you failed to offer a treat first.
Knox was still just as clingy as Moole had been and had spent the entire duration of the conversation draped over Jakobi's shoulder dozing, only briefly waking up to call out to the other horses in the arena as they all waited for their turn. Absentmindedly scratching the young stallions cheek Jakobi turned slightly to see the other men over Knox's large neck. "He did well in training right? Like normal horse well not 3 year old well. There's a lot of actual accomplished horses entering this thing."
"Dude you need to calm down." Keke ordered, glancing over the horses neck. "He'll do fine. It's perfectly normal for horses to not win their debut and there's ribbons up till 4th place so I'm sure he'll at least place. You need to remember that not even the original Moole won his first show."
"Well yeah but he still got second." Jakobi reasoned, shifting slightly and waking the young horse who snuffled his cheek in protest. "I'm more worried about running through a jump and getting dead last or something." The man explained, pushing away Knox's muzzle.
"He's not going to run through a jump." The trainer dismissed, fishing a treat out of his coat for the nosey horse. "If he's never done it in training he's not going to start now, just relax and let him do his job. It's not even a ridden class, your entire job is just to half jog and then catch him again when he's done, which is easy because he will run right up to you like a dog."
As if to prove his point Knox took a step closer to his handler before once again draping his neck over the mans shoulder and shutting his eyes. "Yeah I hope he doesn't weigh much more fully grown because he's eventually going to crush me to death." Jakobi shifted uncomfortably, leaning against a wall in an attempt to shift some of the horses weight. "I'm glad he can settle down but this is kind of extreme."
"Be grateful," Keke instructed, running a hand down the horses back. "If it were Moole he'd be on his hind legs screaming loudly and constantly so this is a much better alternative."
"Ugh you're right," Jakobi agreed, rolling his eyes as he thought back on Moole's shenanigans. "Remember how he'd get loose pretty much every show."
"When he kicked the puissance wall down after he'd already landed."
"How about when he colicked after the show while he was in fucking Pennsylvania."
"Man that was one of the most stressful times of my life, not knowing if he was going to be ok or not. Remember when he got loose immediately after making it back to Colorado and almost ripped his incision open?"
The two men fell silent, each reflecting back on their years of competing with Moole. Knox, being the center of attention that he is, capitalized on that moment to loudly snort himself awake before inspecting everyones faces once more, almost as it to remind them that he was the center of their world now.
