Description

Stacy Keibler is in the ring, having been summoned by AEW General Manager Toni Storm.

“All right, Keibler. You embarrassed me last week. But that’s not going to happen again. Instead, I will embarrass you.

“All right, everyone. Prepare for one of the shortest matches in AEW history as Stacy Keibler becomes the latest challenger to the undefeated TBS Champion, Jade Cargill!”

Jade Cargill and all that remains of the Baddies (Leila Grey) emerge Stacy’s latest nemeses.

“If you win this match, not only will you become TBS Champion, but I promise to resign my position as General Manager. Like that’s going to happen, though.

“By the way, I’m giving you a completely undeserved championship opportunity. You’re welcome...

"Oh, wait. No, I'm not. Psych!"

Stacy glares at Jade with every ounce as much disdain as Jade has for everyone else. Jade, of course, is unfazed. She climbs into the ring and holds her TBS Championship belt up for all to see. The commentators pipe up.

“Well! This is the most high-profile match Stacy Keibler has had in AEW so far!”

“The chances for her aren’t good. Jade Cargill is undefeated!”

As the bell rings, Stacy stalks right up to Jade and narrows her eyes. Jade just smirks and ruffles the hair atop Stacy’s head. And, one moment later, Stacy slaps Jade’s face as hard as she can! The slap doesn’t do much damage, but it immediately arouses all of Jade’s fury! The champion immediately retaliates by putting Stacy into position for the Jaded!

“Well, that’s that!”

Just in time, though, Stacy reverses the Jaded into an Iron Collar! Jade is temporarily helpless with her neck between Stacy’s meaty thighs! Toni goes berserk with outraged alarm!

“You’re wrong! This isn’t over yet! At least, not quite!”

"Jade was suckered in!"

Toni climbs onto the ring apron, screaming in rage and fear!

“Toni is really starting to panic! I don’t blame her!”

The GM begins screaming obscenities at the referee, demanding that Stacy’s “illegal” move be broken up.

“She’s trying to distract the referee!”

“Of course she is! If the referee doesn’t see a tapout, then it never happened!”

Jade finally gains some relief from Stacy by ramming both of them backward into turnbuckle and forcing Stacy to loosen her hold. The champ pries the challenger’s thighs apart so that Stacy slides down her back. After retreating to the center of the ring to recover for a few seconds, Jade approaches Stacy in the corner to do further damage with a (pre-gestured) European uppercut – and Stacy responds with a Steel Boot!

“The hits just keep on coming! The hits for Jade Cargill, that is!”

Once again the champion is forced back to the center of the ring. Stacy punishes Jade further with a Scissor Kick and then a Turret Kick (spinning side kick to belly). She then attempts to finish the champ off with a Sickle Kick – but Jade counters the move by seizing Stacy’s leg and reversing it into a flapjack!

“Jade finally regained the advantage! I don’t think it will be long now!”

The champion sets Stacy up for the Jaded – and this time, performs it successfully! She hooks a leg and covers: 1…2…3! Jade Cargill remains TBS Champion! (Not that she was in danger of losing her title anyway, of course.)

After Jade’s victory, Toni enters the ring and gives Stacy a stomping beatdown. Willow comes running to the rescue, but Saraya and Ruby Soho intercept her and take her out with their finishers.
