Do you use reference for the anatomy?

Thank you so much! Normally I have my little "model dummy" set up under a light source after I make an initial sketch, so that helps me with basic shape and volume. I also create a mood board with various images. None of them are actual reference poses, but they help me get an idea how I want it to feel. So sketch, dummy model, mood board and a mirror nearby to help me with any angles I can't think up
