I love how you managed the colours and the way your draw her hair. It looks so good, can't wait to see the finished piece!

Wow I love it I hope you don't mind such a comparison but it reminds me of these stunning tarrot cards from Dragon Age.
I'm in love with your artworks! Maybe one day you could make a coloring tutorial how to achieve such a smooth effect? I'm new to digital art and I'd love to be able to be at least 15% good at it as you sorry for a long comment

Thank you! And actually I am super happy to hear they remind you of DA because those cards were a definite inspiration for me! I just love all of the texture and color in those pieces.

Sure! A lot of the smooth effect (which can be very difficult for me) has a lot to do with brushes. I like to set my brushes to opacity 64% and flow 75%. I find the default natural brushes in photoshop like the chalk brushes are really nice for texture and smoothness. Also, Charlie Bowater has some great brushes you can purchase online. And Kyle's Ultimate Brush set on Gumroad. Also air brushing helps!

Well welcome to digital art! I can tell you that I didn't take any online courses, just watched tutorials, read books, experimented in photoshop (always experimenting), and practice every day! You will achieve your goals with practice and passion.

Me too, it's my goal to be able to create something quite similar to them

Thank you so much for the advice! I'm not a photoshop user, I use gnu licence program Krita but it's probably something quite similar so I'll figure it out somehow. It's going to be easier with your advice

I'm going to try hard to be better and practice every day at least for the summer time because when the university begins I don't have time for anything But being inspired now after your answer it'll be easier to stay motivated Thanks again and good luck!

I've never heard of Krita before, I've only ever used photoshop, but I'd love to try something new.

I understand. I've been fortunate enough to have lots of time since I freelance from home. You'll find time, and don't feel bad if you don't, you're doing what you can. There's a season for everything.

Just keep swimming!
