Winter is such a beautiful time in Canada. This piece was inspired by my walks home at 2:00am when I was coming back from the studio. I love being bundled up in my layers with my knapsack; black hoodie, black jacket, gloves, my favourite green hat, while I'm plowing through snow dunes and it's a blizzard on top of me.That's the feeling I was going for in this piece.. I know a lot of it was left sketchy, but I wasn't interested in that.
P.S. I don't know WHY her chest would be exposed in that cold.
