Uh, I'm not very sure about this drawing... I liked the idea in my mind, but I had no reference so the faces don't look properly
Anyway, here it is my mage Hawke and Anders from Dragon Age II

I mean the time betweenΒ XVIII to XIX century in Europe, when statements of "fighting for freedom" or "giving your life for important reason"(for example it was popular to act like Winkelried - he took all the enemies on himself, he died but his army won) were very popular. Also there was interest in mad people (Anders is quite insane - he's got ghost in his mind actually...), also loving someone more than his life... Doesn't that sound like Anders?
