Description Lolita at the Miami Seaquarium

So this was my last trip to the MSQ all I wanted to do was visit this lovely gal. I was pretty excited to see her
Shes the whale I fell in love with and the one who has my heart lol. I hope to go see her again someday since I moved pretty far away from her.
I must say that her show is more of a dolphin show than an orca show. She barely participated when I visited so who knows whats going on.

Agreed, I was so curious about her story and the rest of the park that I went to see it with my own eyes... I cried and on the second trip I went and saw where Hugo was kept I lost it and yet people are freaking out over SW tanks and they are an ocean compared to her tide pool....

I went on my own twice, the second time I finally saw the manatee enclosure and on the underwater viewing area there was a little sign saying that they housed Huge there… I was furious!! The manatees barely fit through the little path into the other side of the pool can you imagine a bull orca!?!?! This specific park needs to find new homes for it's animalsΒ

ikr i just want to throw this out there :

To us seaworld/aquarium tanks may seem big but to the orca its a coffee mug!

Perhaps even her astonishing will to survive is flagging. Check out [link] to learn of her ordeal, and help spread the word.

I have seen and read many things... all of them unfortunate... the first time I went I was hesitant because I had heard about her ordeal and I did not want to participate in allowing this to go on, yet I did and boy did I cry my heart out... I went twice... that second time I promise you was the last...

A better thing would be to go to the protests. I would go, but we don't have them here. I'm thinking about starting them, though people tend to think it's hard to work for something when it's all on the other side of the country. Still, might try.

She's so beautiful. I plan on seeing her one day soon..I'm just not sure when. I think it's like a 3 hour drive from here (central Florida). Wonderful photo of her!
